Last weekend, we had the privilege to shoot both photo and video for Nicole and Eric’s wedding. We have known Nicole and Eric for quite some time. Nicole was one of my sister’s closest friends since high school. We were beyond excited when her and her fiancé Eric reached out to us about shooting their wedding.
The day started with Nicole and Eric getting ready at a hotel up north in Clinton, NJ. A friend of mine, Will, from Will Capture Photography, joined us for the day and helped us capture some photos. He did most of the photography with Eric, while I took photos of Nicole. Laura shot video with two separate cameras and had me assist from time to time. Having three people shoot both photo and video may sound like a difficult task, but it actually went really smoothly.
After getting ready at the hotel, we all went over to their venue. They have a friend who has a farm and he generously let them have their wedding on his farm. The farm is up north in Asbury, New Jersey and was absolutely beautiful.
We took some photos in front of a beautiful red barn door, and took some photos around the property. There was a 400 year old tree towards the back of the farm and that proved to be a great photo spot as well. It had just rained the day before, so we were a little limited with where everybody felt comfortable walking around on the farm. But we still ended up getting some great shots. We were lucky enough to have the farm owner drive us around on a tractor to each location.
After the ceremony, a two hour cocktail hour took place outside. The night followed with a reception in the barn and lasted until 10pm with an hour long after party afterwards.
We are currently going through all the photos now and can’t wait to share some more as we continue to edit them!
